A visit to the tropical house at Kew Gardens led to the creation of this range of small side tables. The design is based on a plant stem which had three radiating fins providing stability, elegance and strength.

In selected tables, the central interlocking joint was developed further by extending it along the length of the leg to emulate even more closely,  the distinctive shape seen in the plant at Kew.
