With Extendable Leaves

Custom-made extending dining table

Shown with Cherry legs and Maple top

One of the most original design elements on this table is found in the shape of the legs which have a large radius at the top which elegantly changes to an elongated ellipse at the bottom.

I employed the rising-wedge method of leaf extension that I had used previously for my own dining table.

The flaps on this table extend out on wedges which raise them to the same level as the main top.
It has been our main dining table since I made it 25 years ago, although at the moment it spends more time as a desk.
